About us, well actually, about me.My name is Vicki, and this is my website, Everything-Breast-Cancer.com. I developed this site when someone I know was diagnosed with breast cancer. The initial shock gave way and a need to uncover as many breast cancer facts as possible emerged. Volumes of information revealed what she would be facing. I realized that no matter how much I read I would not truly understand her journey. And the more I read, I realized that though I was aware of breast cancer, I really didn't know anything about the actual disease. So this site is the result of hours and hours of research, a sense that more can be done to spread the word about breast cancer, and in particular how vitally important early detection is. The goal for this site is to reach women and help encourage them to do everything they can to be aware of their bodies, and do all that they can in the breast cancer early detection department. Also, my objective is to financially support efforts around breast cancer education, early detection services, and the search for the cure.
