Stage 0 Breast Cancer

The following is this TNM stage for stage 0 breast cancer.

Tis N0 M0

In general, the above TNM stage can be summarized below for stage 0:

· The tumor is not invasive and is in situ, lymph nodes are not involved, and there is no metastasis to distant parts of the body.

· This can be for lobular carcinoma in situ or ductal carcinoma in situ.

Stage 0, primarily ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) is also known as early breast cancer. Some doctors may consider lobular carcinoma in situ a precancerous condition.

The survival rate for this stage is nearly 100 %.

I can’t emphasize this enough:
